Geocaching!
Yesterday, Andrew and I spent a day out with my family geocaching. ( For those who don't know, its just a treasure hunt with a handheld GPS basically.) We spent a good few hours in Oak Mountain State Park, and needless to say we all got our exercise that was needed for the day. We climbed up hills, and rocks, all while my mom snapped pictures of us doing so. I ended up falling in a hole, right after I was just thinking to myself that I was surprised I hadn't already. It's funny how things work out sometimes. Andrew and I had lots of pictures taken, like mini photo shoots. After about 3 hours of geocaching and sightseeing in the park, we headed off at closing time to Academy. The National championship trophy was there and it was like a sea of orange and blue inside and out. We were probably 3 out of maybe 15 Alabama fans that was there. After Academy, and dinner at Zaxby's, we set out to find more geocaches. It was already dark so we brought out the flashlights, and went on our way. In the end, we only found about 12 or 13, but it was still fun to spend a day out with the family and my boyfriend. It was quality time we needed together. When we got home, my parents told the windshield wiper story, that i had yet to hear, and we all laughed harder than we had in a long time. I got the life tickled out of me, and then got my leg stuck in the chair, and in the process, broke my dad's glasses. In the end, it was a great day, and even better that everyone was there to enjoy it with everybody.
